Review ~ Loving Liberty by Belinda Boring

Review 5/5 stars!!!

Liberty Montgomery is many things:
A dutiful daughter.
Perfect wife-in-training.
Easy to manipulate.
Compliant.

But secretly she wants more.

For years, Liberty has dreamed of a life filled with opportunities—a life where she makes the decisions, living by her own rules. Unfortunately, her parents have other plans for her, ones that involve her submission and total obedience. Every attempt to break free from their control is met with threats, leaving her feeling trapped. Just when all seems hopeless, Liberty meets Oliver Nichols. With just two words, be brave, he stirs up her secret longings for more . . . friendship, fun, and independence. He almost has her believing her dreams are possible.

However, taking a stand can be terrifying when you’ve spent your entire life pleasing others. Are some chances worth taking? What would she risk for freedom?

I am not usually a fan of contemporary romance but this book has changed that. Once I started reading Loving Liberty I did not put it down until I was finished. The title is perfect for this book because once you start reading Liberty's story you will definitely love her.

Liberty is lost in the life that her family is molding for her. A family that runs every aspect of her life, not for their love of their daughter but for their personal gain either for her fathers business or her mothers need to further her status. Constantly bullied into doing what she is told to do instead of what she wants Liberty feels hopeless to ever live out her dreams, until she meets Oliver. Oliver is the first person to show Liberty what her life should be like without being bullied into every decision. He is also the first to show her what love and hope truly is.

Loving Liberty is a must read that will pull you into Liberty's world and run you through an emotional rollercoaster of love, hate, anger, sadness and even some laugh out loud moments.
