Review 4/5 Stars!!Joclyn Despain has been marred by a brand on her skin. She doesn't know why the mark appeared on her neck, but she doesn't want anyone to see it, including her best friend Ryland, who knows everything else about her. The... scar is the reason she hides herself behind baggy clothes, and won't let the idea of kissing Ryland enter her mind, no matter how much she wants to.

I really enjoyed Kiss of Fire and how different it was from others that I have read lately. While it was written well I gave it 4 star because at times I had a really hard time keeping my attention on the book. There was a few dull spots that didn't really need to be in the Kiss of Fire. I really liked all of the characters in Kiss of Fire and the relationship that Joclyn has with Ryland and the history they have together after being best friends since they were kids. This isn't a story of love at first sight which is a nice change. Rebecca Ethington writes a great book and I cant wait to read the next book in the series.
